Yikes. Missed Amazon rebate postmark

Yikes. I just realized it was due yesterday. I've had my mind on other things due to my son's baptism and a birthday party for him, too!

Any experience with rebates being honored past the postmark?

Should I give it a try?

Not to suggest anything "illegal"...but if you know someone who works in a small office...they may have a postage machine (not sure what the term is). Back date the envelope and send it on it's way. If it's only a day or so...I don't see the harm. Then you'll be assured of your rebate.
