e-mail and blue tooth synchronisation

Hi there,

I use my Treo500 for about a month now.
Synchronisation with usbcable is without a problem. I cannot get bluetooth started however. I have a blue tooth device an both computers I work with and although my Blue Soleil software detects the palm I am not able to get the sync service started at all. What can I do?

And although I can receive emails on one of the two email accounts I use frequently I am not able to send emails. My treo gives the following error message: no messages sent. check if you have acces to the network and if the accounsettings are configured properly and then try again.

Which settings? I am totally in the dark here!

I use a three pop3 mail accounts from the 500 on O2 without any problems. Google and Hotmail can more of an issue.
