4 weeks for "Advanced Replacement" repair? Anyone else having the same problem? My Treo 600 was randomly doing a complete "factory reset", erasing everything, even the date and time. I think it's like the battery or the charger was getting disconnected.
Anyway, I called Treo customer support, and after a discussion about the problem and convincing them that it wasn't a 3rd-party application (it happened again after I renamed my 'backup' directory and went without any 3rd-party apps for a few hours), they offered me an "Advanced Exchange" -- ship me a new unit within 1-3 business days.
That was December 7, and my "estimated ship date" for a new unit is now January 4 -- they keep on slipping it back a week at a time.
Anyone else in a similar limbo? |
