Question Anyone had issue with Wireless Mode turning off by itself?

I have a Treo 600 and I've had it for several months and enjoyed it. However, this week I've had issues with my Wireless Mode turning itself off randomly. I may have a connection and then 10 minutes later with out touch the phone it just powers it off without me even touching the phone. I'll turn the wireless mode back on and get connected to the Cingular network again, only to have it disable itself again a short time later. Just wondering if anyone else has had this type of issue before. I love this phone/PDA, but I have found getting support for this phone is something of a hassle...

    Appreciate anyone's feedback on this.

Default Treo 600 turns off by itself

I have the same problem since 3 weeks, after my Treo 600 went down in the toilet - I recued it immediately.
It took met 5 days before it worked again, but since then it turns off by itself, always caused by a -even minor- shock.

My 1 month old 650 will turn the phone off after a shock or bump. No clue why.

The only reason I can come up with is that the phone might be doing a soft reset while you aren't aware and when it comes back from the reset the wireless portion doesn't turn on. The next time the wireless isn't on, try doing a *#377 to check when your last reset occured.

*#377,? I programed phones before but where do i enter this command? A soft reset caused by an impact? I was thinking that maybe the sim card looses contact when the phone is bumped hard. same effect as pulling it out? ??

The code is dialed as if it is a phone number. It's different based on carrier:
For Cingular Wireless (including former AT&T Wireless accounts), Orange, Rogers Wireless, T-Mobile or other GSM:

Using the on-screen dialpad or the number keys enter #*377 (#*ERR on the dialpad for error) and choose Dial.

    For Bell Mobility:

Using the on-screen dialpad or the number keys enter ##377 (##ERR on the dialpad for error) and choose Dial.

    For Sprint PCS:

Using the on-screen dialpad or the number keys enter ##377 (##ERR on the dialpad for error) and choose Dial.

    For Verizon Wireless:

Using the on-screen dialpad or the number keys enter #*#377 (#*#ERR on the dialpad for error) and choose Dial.

i'm not so sure about this, but my 600 started doing the same thing (resetting but not from bumps) when i installed certain freeware from the net. have you installed any third-party apps? demo version or something like those? maybe they're the cause. becuase i erased them from my phone and the problem stoped. one time i actually saw my phone suddenly turn off and reset. it's probably a soft reset..

    anyways, it's just a suggestion. Ü

I'm with Crazy. I think it might be soft resets probably caused by an app.
