Anyone think the price of the Verzion Treo 600

will drop when the 650 for Verizon comes out? I've decided on a 600, but don't know if I should buy now or wait thinking the price will go down somewhat. Thx.

My guess is that you'll see a price drop BEFORE the release of the Treo 650. However, that price drop might not materialize if they do not have an inventory issue with the 600.

Well, it looks like we may be on to something. We now offer the Verizon Treo 600 for $199. Perhaps, the 650 is around the corner?:confused:

Well, I just got my Treo 600 yesterday at the Verizon store and after all the promotional discounts and a rebate it's costing me $50! That's right - $50! I was going to get a regular phone but couldn't pass this deal up. I've been a PocketPC user for several years and never thought I'd end up with a Palm product, but here I am. So far I like what I see. I bought and installed a few apps to supplement/replace the ones I thought were weak or not available - good thing SD cards have gotten cheap! It's going to take me a while to get used to everything, but so far it's all good!

Doesn't look like the promotion is online yet on the website. Did they happen to mention if this was new? Will stop by my local dealer tomorrow and see if they are carrying it.

Don't know. Price they had marked on the wall was $249. I got $100 off for a "New Every Two" deal, $50 off for some un-named promotion that the clerk discovered while filling out the paperwork, and a $50 mail-in rebate form. I told her to keep looking to see if we could get them to pay me to take the Treo, but no luck. :D

All in all - I'm a happy camper!
