Auto Answer ?

After much debate, I have decided to purchase the 600 over the 650. The only question I have with respect to the phone is if it has an Auto Answer option. I'd appreciate an answer from any of you current users. Thx.

Both the Treo 600 and Treo 650 are great options. I have the 600 and it's great smartphone. I use an application called CallFilter. It enables me to add ringtones for individuals, groups, etc. I can also set it up where certain calls go straight to voicemail. Is this what you mean by "auto answer"?:confused:

I haven't found one yet, but the headset that it comes with, and many of the other aftermarket ones, have a button the microphone or the wire that allows you to answer it without taking it out of the case, or pressing any buttons on the actual unit itself. It also allows you to hang up after the phone call ends. An auto answer feature would be nice.

Chris, by auto answer, I mean after a certain number of rings, the phone picks up the call automatically. For example if you are wearing a headset and don't want to manually press any keys on the phone. Looks like the answer is no from the other post in response to my inquiry. Thx.

The only auto answer that I see is for the BT headset. You can go into the preference screen and select handsfree and from there you can either select Immediatley, After 1 ring, After 2 rings or Disabled.
