Camera Issues - Any Ideas?

I got my 600 second hand a month or so ago. It works great except for the camera. Instead of showing (and taking a picture of) a clear, colorful image, the subject/s is tinted red and is distorted to the point where it almost looks like a film negative. And I don't think it is the screen because it operates normally otherwise. I have fiddled with what I can but I cannot think of what could be causing this.

Any one have any suggestions?
