Catching an incoming 2nd call???

WT??? I just bought a new treo 600 and I'm still trying to make everything work. Bizarrely it seems I'm unable to pic up a second call
I'm on a call and I get the sound alarm that I have a second call coming in. The maual says to put the first call in waiting mode which I do. Then a button "take second call" should appear on my screen... Guess what!? IT DOESN'T!

If some1 has any clue as to what I should do, plz help me, and refrain from telling me hard reset. I already know that option, I'm just hoping there's a better solution than loosing all my data in the hopes my treo will actually work properly afterwards.

You don't have to hit the Hold button. Just press the Answer button. The other call is put on hold automatically. You can hit the Swap button to go back and forth.

I have the same problem. When I take the second call, then end it, I lose the first call also.

No you don't have the same problem...
You can take a second call...
I simply can't answer the second incoming call. To hangup on the second call I would actually have to have answered it. :sad:
Can't believe I'm the only one stuck with this problem!?

I have the same problem. When I take the second call, then end it, I lose the first call also.

this pisses me off too. what i have to do is hit swap and just wait until my first call is ended but i don't know if that still ties up the second line even though the other person has disconnected.
