Cingular data plans - Treo Forums

Anyone know what type of prices for Cingular data services. I currently still have a T300

using Sprint. The $10 unlimited data program absolutely rocks. Not unlike the guys at Handspring, I am an email addict. I check it 7-8 times an hour... at least.

Cingular's data rate plans will come no where near matching the unlimited vision plan that Sprint offers.
It's $6.99 for 1 MB with like for 4 other levels in between to unlimited for $74.99!
I use the 5MB plan for $14.99 and is plenty for me but, YMMV!

I was quoted $50.00 per month for unlimited media in Western Kentucky. The rep really didn't spell out what my options are. She pushed the unlimited by saying that it was worth it--if you go over with the other plans, they supposedly hit you with some rediculous charges. Does anyone have any stories of excessive overages?
