I stopped by CompUSA to buy a pack of screen protectors. So, for the heck of it I stopped by the cellphone counter. I heard CompUSA had the Treo for $299, so I asked the guy how much the Treo 600 costs. He said, "I think it's like $599". So, he checked in the computer and $599. So, I said, " Any rebates".
And I quote, "No, it's $599".
Any dope knows that a phone contract carries a rebate. This guy just didn't want to sell a phone plan or a Treo 600 for that matter. Why would you even bother going to a retail store with the advent of Amazon's, etc. No tax. No hassle. Delivered right to your door.
To boot, they did not have screen protectors...so I headed to staples where they have a great deal on a Treo 300..NOT
