Dial phone number from Calendar (like Contacts)

I have a Treo 600 / Verizon.

Many of my Calendar entries have a phone number (e.g. conference calls, a 800 number, plus a passcode).

I can't always write down the number, but I can't switch between the Calendar and the phone.

Does anyone:
Have any tips / tricks to accomplish this?
Know of any SW that would "highlight" the phone number and then dial....I am pretty sure I can remember the 6 digit passcode.
