whats a good MP3 Player for the Treo 600

also... the defualt system ring tones for known and unknown caller... is there a program to cover that feature?

im currently using ringo... but it doesnt have the known and unknown caller ring tone

I was using Call Filter on my Treo 600 before I received my Treo 650. It's much more than a ringtone manager. I did a review of Call Filter on the site that will provide you with more information on the capabilities. One caveat is that you'll need PocketTunes in order to play MP3 ringtones. That however answers your first question as PocketTunes is a fantastic MP3 player for the Treo 600.

I'd suggest giving them a trial and seeing if they meet your needs. I've had very good results with both and they work well together.

Ringo!! there is better out there, ringo pro is about 29$ but the free version works awsome for me!

i got the ringo but only got a 7-day trial version... is there a trial version that goes on forever? cuz i don't wanna purchase the full version since it's too expensive when converted to our currency here.

I am new to the Treo, actually I don't even have it yet, it will be here on Monday or Tuesday but I am trying to see if some of my old Palm apps might work. I haven't had a Palm OS device in 2 years (pocket pc) but I am back and would like to know if the Palm version of Real Player is a viable solution?

I'm not sure if you can get Real Player for the Treo 600. It does come pre-installed in the 650. If you can find if for free, then it's a decent MP3 player. The most popular MP3 player is PocketTunes.

ptunes - ck it out, need audio adapter which I got at the Palm Store.

hi dgreening, to answer your queries regarding an mp3 player for the 600, you can download real player for palm from www.real.com ... i got mine from there. its not a trial version, it's free, and it works perfectly. and oh yeah, im using a 600 so it's not a problem. Ü it's probably the only application ive downloaded that works perfectly. so far, all the third party apps i've downloaded affected my phone so i destroyed them all. Ü enjoy your phone. Ü

you can get the stereo headset cheaper on ebay. i bought it from Innovative Cellular US (and I swear that is not me advertising, just trying to share a trusted seller). in fact i bought 2 because the first one wore out after six months of heavy use.
