Default How Freeup Ram Memory on my Treo 600?

My memory is now at 23k (out of 24k) on my Treo 600 and I want to free this Ram Memory up. I have a 1gb SD Card.

How do I transfer the full install software applications (OfficePremier, Games etc.) on the Treo Internal Memory to my SD Card to free up memory? Or can this be done? If can be done, do I need special software application to move the existing apps to my SD card? Also, after transferring, can I run my sware apps from the SD card and not from the internal memory?

What about new software apps I download from Handango? How do I install these on the SD Card instead of the internal Treo memory?

Thanks for your help!

Eric

You can use a freeware app called MSMount

Quote:
MSMount allow you to access palm applications and databases that are on the MemoryStick or SD card as if they are on the DRAM of Palm device. With this MSMount, an appliation that is not support Virtual File System can access to Memory Stick or SD card. You can move large databases (ex. dictionary) from DRAM of Palm device into MemoryStick and make much free space on device.
Or you can opt for an excellent shareware app called ZLauncher

Quote:
ZLauncher is a PalmOS system management program that integrates the system supervisor, application/database manager and expansion card manager. What?? Ok, it's a replacement launcher for your Treo and it looks and works just great! ZL is totally customisable, extremely flexible, and includes some powerful and useful features like Quicklaunch Anywhere, the ability to launch apps from SD card and a superb built-in file manager utility. This is a really neat application launcher and works a dream with the Treo 600
When you double click on a .prc file to be Hotsync'ed, you get a popup screen called Install Tool - there's a button to 'Change Destination' and you can opt to install it to SD card instead

I had the same question before and this is what a member told me to do.

At the top left hand corner of your screen tap the time.. that will let a drop down box appear, then select copy, and copy any app you wish to put onto your card.... then do the same process again and then instead of press copy press delete and delete the app you copied to your card off your phone to free up spaces from your internal memory...........

Hope this helps.
