Just got my new 600! Install Error :(

Hey there,

I just bought my Verizon treo 600 last night. I had to look all over the state to find it, I managed to find one left at a store 2 hours away, and drove as fast as I could to get there. They said I could not reserve it as it was a first come first serve basis. I am extremely happy to finally gotten it.

The reason I got it was because I didn't have an mp3 player and I figured I might as well go all out, also it reminds me of the tricorders from star trek, and I love having futuristic technology. Also, I can't wait to impress the babes when I ask for their number and whip out this sexy piece of electronics.

So I got home last night and popped in the Desktop/Sync software CD and I got the following error:



I have Windows XP Pro, I can't understand why this would happen. I already searched up and down the Palm help forum but couldn't find the answer. Anyone encounter this before? Any help is greatly appreciated. I can't wait to start connecting to my computer and transferring files and software! :D

Sir,
the problem lies not in your Treo 600 but yet your computer

i recomend restarting you computer and plugging the usb in and trying again
if that doesnt work email me
