before i waddle my way to the nearest bestbuy to get a treo 600, i wanted to know if the treo 600 can view and edit word, excel, powerpoint, and pdf documents. i also want to know if it can play mp3s, but i allready made a topic for that. please help me cuz i think i made a mistake getting a sony clie. plz help! :huh: :o ;) :P :D :lol: B) :rolleyes: :punk: :) :angry: :( :unsure: :blink: :ph34r: B) (!) <_< :wacko: :pirate: :devil: (w00t) :geek: :wub: :wub: :wub: (!)

Yes, it will do all of the above. Not sure about editing pdf files but certainly viewing them w/ Docs to Go software.

You can view PDFs using the Adobe Reader for PalmOS.

The easy to use software converts regular PDFs to "palm"-PDFs- and allows you to synch them with your palm. Unfortunately it does not allow you to view native PDFs that may be posted to websites. At least in the latest version that I am using (v3.05)

I'm also considering of getting a treo 600. Can it play and record video? And it what format?

Yes, it can record audio and video. Check out SoundRec and MovieRec from Infinityball. At last check, they were free applications to boot.
