Little help on my new Treo 600

I just received my new Treo 600 in the mail yesterday. When I first started to charge the battery the LED light came on, and I then turned on the phone. The logo of Palm Power came up and it seemed to freeze. After about one minute I then hit the off button which turned it off, but then the LED light won't come on and the cell won't turn on either now. I have tried a soft and hard reset but either seem to work. The charger's light is still lite but it just seems that it's not getting to the Treo. Has anyone had this problem or does anyone know of anything else I can try to get it to work/charge.
