 |  MOVIE converter anyone know any other movie converter other than kinomo and mmplayer? for some reason everytime i try to add files from my desktop to convert in kinomo software it freezes up and not responding. and with the mmplayer, it keeps on resetting everytime i touch preference. thanks |

| You can try using TCPMP, i'm using the unstable version at the moment on my treo 600 and i've had no problems with it. http://tcpmp.corecodec.org/download And to convert the movies use : virtual dub http://www.virtualdub.org/ |

| Converting movies on a Mac? Any ideas on the best method/app/settings for converting a movie on a Mac to play on a Palm 5 Treo? All the tools I've seen so far are for Windows machines. Also, all the attempts I've made with FCP so far result in 30 minutes of video being about 500M of the wrong format. Thanks for any help.... |

| To Rip a DVD for a Palm. If you want to rip dvd's to palm to the product pocket dvd for palm. To rip a good sized movie 2hr plus takes about 50 minutes depending on quality. It will also convert any movies to palm format in one step. I have been using it for a while with no complaints.  |
