I tried several ways to edit the resultant file and 'erase' the silence at the end but was not successful. I go in spurts, some times I work on these things for a few hours, and at other times I can't take the time to follow through. I am interested, but I guess I have a short attention span!
you have a record feature on your 600?? really?? is it a program?? by default i don't think i have that. is it installed by default in the US? because my treo was just sent here by my uncle from the states.

    Default RE: Bruce-Web-Designer

    Hello,
I am a new treo 600 user and am having issues with setting ringtones/sounds to my people on my contact list and in general. I downloaded the free sound recorder v1.05 from Ryan Rife (www.infinityball.com) (Is that the one you mentioned above?). The recording part works well for me but when I go to a contact in my favorites to change the ringtone the only options I have are the tones in my sounds folder; which only has the tones that came with the phone. I would like to be able to take the recorded sounds and make them my ringtones, how can I do this?

    Please help
