Default Orange squiggley line on screen treo 600

Does anybody have any idea or any experience with having an orange squiggley line on the screen of the treo 600?
It suddenly appeared out of nowhere .
The line is near the bottom left corner of the screen.
    Feedback is appreciated!

All that comes to mind is the what I call the command line. If it looks like a slash / that's what it is. You can use that to activate your menu options. To activate it, start your stylus at a point and move up and to the right at a 45 degree angle and you should see that slash. Next type a letter to bring up a menu item.

For example if you go to the Memo pad, make that slash with the stylus, then type F, you should see the Font options.

Anyway, that's what I think you're referring to because anything else sounds like a problem!

    PS:

To remove the slash, just tap anywhere on the screen...and the command line doesn't work on all the screens.

Default It is not a slash

It is not a slash. It looks like a very curly orange hair. I don't know how else to describe it.

Sorry, I don't know what that's caused by. I'd probably run it by the service provider.

just out of curiosity, how old are your phones and were they covered by warranty? are the providers charging you anything for the replacements?

    Lightbulb Orange Spots

Orange spots are a sign of water moisture in the LCD AFAIK. You have a defective screen and should ask for a warranty repair.

http://www.palmone.com/us/support/contact/repair.html - some details on how to get started. Basically you have to call palmOne customer care for the generic GSM 600 model to get a repair order.

The repair costs without a waranty from palmone.com is $179.00 for repair and return. $179 + $25.00 for advance exchange.
