Plz Help!

Hi all new to the Forum but for a bad reason sadly, I just got my treo in a couple days ago, i love it to death! but for some reson the dang thing will just shut itself off for no reason, and not just a reset it goes all the way off, like when you do a battery disconect , it will only come back on when i hook it up to the charger, but when its hooked back up, i lose everything! and have to hotsync to get it back! please help me i want to use this so bad, but cant take it anywhere with me. plz let me know if you need anymore information. :confused: :confused:

Well, it sounds like you may have a 1) bad battery, 2) bad Treo or 3) uncharged battery.

Did you charge it for a few hours before using it? If no, try that first. If that doesn't resolve it, try a hard reset - but I'm not optimistic, since that appears to be what it's doing already.

If it's not an uncharged-battery issue, I'd suggest RMA'ing it or, if you got it at a local vendor, having them take care of it.
