Another way to get an mp3 file as a ring tone is you take a free program called mptim which will allow you to edit the file like a song for example. I edit my mp3 files from itunes. Once there you need to send the file to an internet sit I know not everyone has access to a server. Try to keep the file size around 100kb then send your self and email to your 650 direct to that internet page. Then down load it from that page and it should allow you to set is as a default ring tone. This is one of the only ways to get ring tones on a Blackberry. I currently use a 7250 and switching tomorrow to the 650 I hope I enjoy it and I hope the tip can help.
