Default Secondary Applications don't always work

Hi everyone, just got a Treo 600 - first ever smartphone.

Perhaps some of you have come across this frustration before -- according to the manual, the Mail application can be quickly accessing by hitting option + SMS button (with envelope icon). However, the SMS messenger is the only thing that ever comes up.

    Any tips?

Also option+calendar, according to the manual, brings up the calculator, however I get the world clock thingy.

Well, I would take a look at the device preferences and see what the "buttons" are set to do.

    hi
    your problem is to easy
go to your applications from the left button
or the home icon in the right bottom in your keyboard

    select pref

then from the right select button
    you will see a table
in the right hand you will see the application + the function key where you can customize it
and the same in the left hand but there you can find the application only

    best regards
