 |  SMTP issues in dial up I am currently using dial up to retreive mail. I was able to send until recently and now I can't get any smtp server to connect. I am on cingular and have read threads about cingulars smtp server, or lack of, but if i am dialing into my isp i would think any "trust" issues by the server are resolved. could cingular be blocking any smtp data connection? I have tried with yahoo, godaddy, and intergate dial up? I have soft reset and even hard reset to no avail! Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. My servers settings are correct! help! |

| More on smtp Now i have successfully connected to and sent mail from a broadband account that requires a ssl account. Could, on a dialup account, cingular filter smtp connections and somehow the ssl connection avoids that filter? :confused: :confused: :confused: |
