Sprint does give you the option of phone or Internet; the thing is, you cannot do it on your own - you need the information from them.

I have the exact same problem...the previous owners name is under the PCS vision username. When I go to the phone access tab, there is no wireless web passcode tab. I'm right there with you...I'd rather plow through the net, wasting countless hours and do it on my own before I talk to someone and have them do it in 5 seconds.

With all this said, I would suggest you back up your device... If the need ever comes up where a hard reset is needed, you will always have things ready to put back on the phone after you bring it back from the dead...
