T-Mobile reception question

I'm having problems with T-Mo in Rhode Island. Customer Service gave me some double talk about how the Treo 600 is not know for its reception. As it turns out, the salesman represented to me that reception at my address was great when in fact the CSR today told me that my area was fair to good....that's another story.

Anyway, I did see some posts on the forum earlier in the year regarding reception problem so now I'm wondering if it is the phone.

Any thoughts?
