Default Thinking about getting a 600

I have been thinking about the Treo 600 - is there any information anyone can give me. would u consider it a good phone ? - one u can have for a while ? - I lookes at the 650 , but $ 450.00-$ 550.00 was a bit much - I found a 600 on l ine for 180.00 - SO I would love some feedback on the value & the wear & tear of the phone - & does it get good service - thanks GENE "bean"

I've been using mine for over 2 years now. I've run into a problem with stuck pixels (show up orange colored) only recently. Up until now it has been problem free, and I haven't noticed the battery losing its ability to hold a charge.

I think the cost of a 650 will be going down this year, so you might to wait, because it does have some nice advantages over the 600.

Which carrier would you be using?

Here is what's better about the 650:

    1. High resolution screen: 160x160 vs. 320x320 (screen physical dimensions are the same)
    2. Removable battery
    3. Non-volatile memory (you don't lose your data if the battery dies)
    4. Bluetooth (use with headsets, GPS, ...)
    5. Faster processor
    6. Higher resolution camera (takes much better pictures compared to the 600)
    7. Better keyboard

    Default Purchased a treo 600

I purchased a treo 600 because I found it at a good price on e-bay and I've always wanted to try them out. Now I am sorry I purchased it, because no one has anything good to say
about the phone. Does anyone have anything good to say about this phone, or should I just keep this sunken feeling I have that I made a mistake?

I've already said that I've been happy with my 600 for the past 2 years. At the time I didn't have the dilemma of choosing between the 600 and 650. I don't understand why you're sorry that you purchased it? Where have people said bad things about the 600? If it meets your needs then it shouldn't matter how other people feel about it, but if it doesn't meet your needs, then you'll have to find something different.
