Here's the photo of the new Treo. Can't wait to get my hands on this bad boy. Early reports say no Bluetooth support. I can't understand why they wouldn't support Bluetooth. I helped a friend of mine with a Nokia get set up on his Mac. Very easy to sync. No wires. Real quick and easy abilty to use your phone as a modem.

Check out the sneak peek at Handspring! This looks very cool!

They don't support Bluetooth directly on the Treo 600, but it has a SDIO slot into which you can put a 3rd party Bluetooth card. Nest best thing, eh?

I like all I have read about the 600. But I have not seen that my carrier T-Mobile will provide service. Does anyone know?

I don't think that it can be confirmed at this time but I would be pretty confident that they will as there will be a GSM version to follow the Sprint CDMA release.

It looks really nice, but there's one major problem with the Treo 600. It's resolution is no better than any of the other Treo devices as it's stuck at 160x160. Why Handspring hasn't decided to up the resolution like it's competition is beyond me. I see my Treo 300 more as a PDA than a phone. I'd much rather keep it the same size as it is now and double the resolution than shrink it, making the keyboard and everything else smaller but be stuck with the same old 160x160 when more and more palm apps are starting to support the higher res mode.

The primary reason why they haven't upgraded is due the battery life. I would rather sacrifice the resolution for extra Juice out of my phone/palm.

Either way......I am looking foward to its release!

I am eagerly awaiting the arrival of my Treo 600, along with a bunch of other folks. It sounds like it will do everything I am looking for including the GPS with the Mapopolis Add on. I am wondering if there are other packages besides Mapopolis that will work with the 600.
