I would think that if you are asking that question and willing to try, you are capable of searching these boards and the web for any information. If not it is probably something you shouldn't be thinking about.

Can't say I have ever seen anything about it...
I have seen on a search on google that they have installed linux on a treo 650 so i think that someone have tried on treo 600!!!
I have synced my 600 with Linux Ubuntu 7.04, it was just hit the button and done. Went flaweless, however took me an hr to find folder. forgot where it was located when i started. but over all just plug/play and sync.
Only the basic functions are supported at this time. That means the phone is not supported.
