Exclamation Treo 600 keeps restarting - out of memory?

    Hello!
Is there a Treo 600 expert in the house?

The inbox for this Treo was flooded with thousands of emails. The email problem was fixed on the server side, but I cannot delete all of the unwanted emails from the Treo. When I put the stylus on one of the unwanted emails, the unit restarts. When I try and "send and receive" the unit restarts as soon as the "receiving changes" message appears. The unit says it only has 68.6k free (out of about 24MB available.)

Is there a way to connect the unit to a PC, and delete items from the Palm through Windows XP? It seems that I am not able to delete anything through the Palm itself. I have tried a soft reset. I am hesitant to perform a hard reset, as the client does not want to lose everything on the Palm.

    Palm Treo 600
    Palm OS v5.2.1
    Win XP

    Please help!

    Thanks,
    J

Which mail application are you using? I think the only way to remedy this problem would be to delete the associated files that contains the mail using a file manager, such as Filez. Attempting to identify the files will depend on what mail application is being used.
