Need Help Treo 600 sending duplicate SMS messages

 I have a Treo 600 on Sprint, and for the past few months every time I send a SMS to someone (same carrier OR different) I get an error message saying "Unable to communicate with the network. The mesage will automatically be resent later." The Treo attempts to re-send about every 60 secs. Problem with this is, the message is ALWAYS successfully sent the first time as well as during the re-tries, and thus the recipient gets the same SMS message from me multiple times until the treo finally gives up trying to send. Sprint has been NO help at all. I have had a software flash, new PRL revision update, and even a new Treo. I cannot even tell you how much time I've spent on the phone with Sprint's technical support the past few days. This has become a problem because some of my customers do not have unlimited SMS, and every time I text them they get between 2 and 6 of the same message. Any info you guys can share on this is greatly appreciated.

if you have already switched to a diff treo and you are still reciving the same issue it's nothing to do with your hardware/software most def a network issue? are you on a gsm network? try changing your sim card with a new one!

Nope, Sprint is CDMA so I don't have a SIM card. I agree that the proplem lies in the network, but I think it is a compatability problem with the way the Sprint network is set up and the Treo 600. This started in January, so they must have changed something then.
