Please help me. I have been a proud treo 270 owner for a year. Moment of truth. Sprint with the 6000 or GSM on T-mobile or AT&T?

    2 real questions.
    1) Sprint vs. T-mobile vs. AT&T for Voice coverage in South Florida? Which is the best? Price is not relavent! I have heard that you can roam on Verizon if you have sprint but is that for digital or analog as teh 600 is not analog.

    2) Mail - I have a work email account (microsoft) and a personal yahoo address. I want to get to my work email as seamlessly as possible. Which is gonna work better sprint with business connect/other or GSM with Snappermail or other.

Any other advantagesa/dis of GSM vs Sprint?

    Thanks so much to all.

The sprint 600 can roam off verizons network, i live in detroit MI and here sprints network is much bigger than verizons. business connections will connect with your work e-mail threw the pop-3 and you can access yahoo threw their HTML site or the WAP site thats just mostly text and icons. the biggest advantage the sprint 600 has is the data speed at 144kbps vs 70kbps with the gsm version. sprints data plans are $15 for unlimited web usage also. with the gsm versions you have to buy megabytes with your plan and i dont thind their unlimited, but that depends on the market of the reigon you live in. Here your charged by the MB. I bought my sprint treo 600 on thursday and i have already used 10MB (you can check how much info u have used by dialing ##786 Dial) hope this has helped you with your thought process

...one thing to add: once you EVER want to use your phone outside the US: the only choice is T-Mobile/Verizion etc. (GSM). Sprint is only available in the US.
Also the VERY popular SMS / MMS works between the GSM network and e.g. all European GSM networks..it's fun to stay in touch with friends around the world with a GSM phone!

    Cheers,

    Mike
