    Informative

I would have said no until I found this nifty gadget.

According to their site the iGo Pitch Duo can:

Give presentations from your handheld device or smartphone—wirelessly.
No notebook, no wires, no hassle, just a powerful presentation direct from your handheld or smartphone. Pitch Duo not only lets you get rid of the cables and weighty notebook, it also enables you to view your presentation notes on your handheld device and use it to wirelessly control the presentation while the audience sees just the slides.

Leave your notebook at home because Pitch Duo enables you to deliver notebook-quality graphics directly from your handheld or smartphone device. Plus it leaves your expansion slot free for extra space to keep your presentations or other important data.

I'm sure there are other solutions similar to this...
