Unlock softeware unlocked the sim and not the phone. See AT&T policy on unlocking their phones.

Im in Mexico and my provider is TELCEL (America Movil). Can I use this software to unlocked an other Treo 600 for another provider (company) in US, Canada or Mexico?

FYI, The unlock softeware unlocked only the sim and not the phone. The phone still doesn't work with other provider's sim. Unless i'm missing something regarding the unlock process, the phone is still locked by AT&T. :frown:

This is what I found in the following link: "Do you have a Treo smartphone with Cingular Wireless service and former AT&T Wireless logo? These smartphones are subsidy-locked to the Cingular Wireless network. In the past, the former AT&T Wireless policy was not to provide unlock codes".
