Right. I got this Treo 600. It had been unlocked from Orange network and worked fine for ages with a Tescos (O2) SIM.

Got fed up with Orange's preconception of what I wanted on the menus, so used TokenWriter to change to ROW and installed ROW firmware.

The fone seemed to work fine, until it got left for a few weeks. Naturally the battery was flat and the phone had forgotten everything.

Charged it and put in my Tescos (O2) SIM. Phone said SIM was not valid.

Put in an original O2 SIM and the phone started searching for a network. Trouble was, it didn't stop searching.

I gave up and had another go.

This time, as a matter of interest, I started the phone logging on near a radio. I DIDN'T get the bzzzzt bzzzt bzzzt of interference as the phone transmitted, which I would have expected as the phone negotiated with the network whilst it signed on.

The PDA bit works fine (Can't get the misssus off playing Solitaire)

OK. Any ideas why the phone is jiggered?
