Treo powers up on own?
Hi, all,
I've noteiced that my 600 seemed to light up occasionally for no apparent reason. Without making a sound, the screen and keypad lights come on and stay on for about 2 minutes, even if I don't press the center button to unlock. As I said, it doesn't make a sound, and the display doesn't show any kind of incomming message. During a recent bout of insomnia, I noticed that it almost always happens at 3:30am, and doesn't seem to matter if it's plugged into the charger or not. Any thoughts on why it's doing this?

It sounds like you have an event or alarm that is causing the treo to wake. Are you using Snappermail or some app that wakes to do an archive or something to the sd card?

Mine, too

I'm with Sprint. The only time I've noticed it is at 3:30AM, so I assume it's the phone updating or synchronizing with the network

I have seen an option for this somewhere to have it happen either at 3:30 or midnight. I can't remember where this is. Basically what it sounded like to me was it transferring the days data to the next.

My 600 would come on when after I plugged it in at night to recharge the battery. In the morning, there it would be, all lit up. I wonder if the "Enable Local Time" feature causes this.
