Default What EXACTLY can I use a Memory Card for...?

I am looking to get myself a 1GB Memory Card for my Treo 600 and had a few questions. I heard you can watch movie clipse, put MP3s on it, and other things. What exactly CAN I do with it. Also, which brand would be a decent brand. I am currently looking on eBay and found a few for around $30 - $40. I don't have the money to get a really good one right now, but would one of those be reliable enough? And I've read that the Sandisk cards are pretty good. Where can I find one for cheap?

Depending on the settings, movies can be around 200MB. My MP3's average around 3MB. That's the big draw for an SD card. Also, if you invested in a GPS system, the maps are pretty hefty. I use TomTom and the maps for the US/Canada are close to 500mb if I remember correctly.

In terms of brand, SanDisk is a very popular brand. I use them in my camera and my Treo.

Also if you use the camera for taking pictures, the card is very useful.

Well, since the camera on the 600 pretty much sucks, I don't do a lot of picture taking with it, but I do want to be able to put mp3s on it, and maybe even some video. I already got pTunes, what else would I need to be able to play video? and what format would the video need to be in to view it on the treo?

TCPMP is the video player of choice for the Treo, and it will play several formats with plugins.
