hi treo people, at times when i get beamed a picture (jpeg) from a nokia phone, i get a pop up message that says "data received in unknown format". i don't know why... other times, it did fine. i understand why that message appears when i get beamed mp3s without a card inserted but with the pictures??? hmm..

That is weird. Maybe your Treo sees the format as progressive JPEG, which it doesn't support.

In most cases teh 600 will display a JPG, but if it is larger than any availiable heap space or encoded with any other compression, you will have an issue.

    Explain, no prob (I hope):

In my experiences, some of the JPG files that I've used have a matte as well as a progressive nature to them. Some of those havent worked.

Note of correction: I was thining GIF when I said compression, had to go back to PS and look at up (now wheres that ashamed smiley).
