Default 1 button dialing problem

I have my 650 configured to use 1 button dialing. Problem-How do I change a phone number of someone who has gotten a new number? I changed it in the Sim Book and changed it in the favorites pages and buttons, but when I push the button, the old number still shows up. Any suggestions??

Hi Miller:

I am guessing that when you say one button dialing you are referring to setting up a Favorites button that is also tied to a "Quick Key". For example, I have my home number on a favorites button and that is also tied to a quick key, in this case by pressing and holding the H key.

If so, you should be able to highlight the Favorites button and then press the menu key, select Edit Favorites and that should allow you to edit the programmed number.

If my guess is wrong, please explain or clarify.

By the way, I don't have a SIM card. I am on Sprint.

Hope this helps,
SteveTaz

I saw this before but do not have a treo with a sim card.

I think I would delete the contact everywhere it shows up. (Card, Treo, Pc) Then try your button to be sure it is gone and then reprogram the button.

Default problem solved

I found the culprit. I use SpeedDial. I had to also change that number. Now it works.
