I just got a new lexar media 1gb SD card and now applications are locking up when trying to run them from the card. here's the kicker...only when the phone is on. please advise

My treo acts like there's a camera, but all I see is black. I checked the conections to the circuit board and the ribon looks set and secure. I don't know what else to do. Please help. I can't post anymore pictures and share with you all. Mike
