1GB SD card, Now what? - Treo Forums

I just got a 1GB SD for my birthday

. I plan to load some songs and use PocketTunes, but what are some other good uses or programs to use the SD card for? Any suggestions?

You might read here about different programs or check out the treo store or palm for recommended programs. It is really what you want your phone to do. I installed some free games that wee on the palm installation disc and they took up a good chunk of my treo memory. I moved them to my card to free up treo memory.

I use my card for 2 purposes: to free up memory by running some of my apps from the card, and to store files (DocsToGo documents, music, movies, pictures, etc.). Like was said above, it really depends on the things you're trying to do with your Treo.

back up to it. being able to restore from the card just saved my butt today.

Can't believe I forgot to mention that. I use BackupMan to backup to my card. That happens to be one of the apps I run from my card, too.

Definately good for Music, Movies and Pics. I have a seperate 128mb SD card with my back-up on it...dont wanna risk having the urge to delete the backup file to make room...anyways, as far as software, it truly is personal preferrence.
