2 Questions (Movies-Treo Alarm)

Maybe someone can help, if not ill try another place, anyways....

A. I followed all the directions on the how to watch movies page, things are working pretty good, however, after it uses the Lathe, im still left with 4 files usually (4 parts of the movie), obviously Id like 1 part only, 2 at the most, any idea on how to do this?

B. If anyone uses the app treo alarm, how in the heck do you get the alarm part to work? For me, I set the alarm and it will go off if I set it for like, 5 min from now or whatever. However, if I set it for the morning, I guess once the phone goes to screen lock mode it stops, any idea on how to fix this?

Any help would be great!

Maybe you should go somewhere else, because I doubt I am going to be much help . . .

I use fairusewizard to rip my movies. I believe its http://www.fairusewizard.com It creates 4 or 5 files, but only one mpeg one. Drop the CD in the slot, and tell fairuse to do its thing, and a couple of hours later, I have ripped a movie . . . I had never heard of lathe until I saw it in this forum. I know nothing about it, other than its not free and fair use wizard is, and I ripped a DVD to the Treo on my first try . . .

Treo Alarm has been my alarm clock for about 8 months now . . . Its the only one I use! I am not using any kind of password protection. When the alarm goes off, it lights up the screen and the screen lock is bypassed. All I do is acknowledge it . .

Are you sure Lathe is doing this? DVD Shrink has an option to split the VOB files into 1 GB chunks somewhere in the preferences (enabled by default). I'm sure the other ripping options have something similar.

As for as the alarm, I dont know then, mine has not gone off once in a week, although when ive tested it for like 2 min ahead, it works. Any other suggestions on why it might be doing this?

The movie, im sure it probaly is the DVD shrink, I didnt know it had that option to cut into 1 file, ill play with that once I get home from work, if not ill try the other one.
