I've had my phone for about 6 months. Early on, I found that the "3" button wouldn't work upon initial push, and then would work after that -- slightly annoying when you're tryin to push in a password or the like.
Sounds like it might be an issue with the contact of teh button with the sytem board. Best bet is to take it apart and reseat the button. If you are still under warranty or have phone insurance, you can angle for a replacement phone.
How do you take it apart? Where do you get the screw driver/tool from? Is the inside pretty complex or are the guts all one piece and come out pretty easy?
