My treo 650's antenna is loose, I think I dropped it hard this time. There are no other problems, and it is working just fine. It is out of warrenty, is there any place I can get it repaired? Let me know.
My antenna was slightly loose and it tighten up by itself. I guess a little dirt or grime.... If it was me a drop of super duper glue to make it tight again.
If you cracked the antyenna plastic around the screw it may eventually fall out when you least expect it. The antenna has a hole that a retaining screw goes through to secure it. I had this problem. You can get an antenna foe the 650 on line at performancepda.com in Atlanta along with a torx driver. You will need to take the battery cover off and loosen all the screws and open up the case carefully and losen te screw from the housing put the new antena in and screw it back in put the case back together and screw the screws back in. They havea new screw and the torx driver. I got my new antenna through ebay its an sprint branded antenna but it works fine with cingular. The guts at performance pda are really helpful.
