650 Case affect Bluetooth?

Has anybody noticed if one type of case or another affects te Treo 650 Bluetooth range? I have a hard case and a Krussel leather flip case and the hard aluminum case seems to cut down my bluetooth range more than the leather one does. Both seem to affect it somewhat. Am I imagining this or has anyone else noticed something similar? Thanks in advance.

I test a number of cases for reviews -- so my Treo finds itself in all types of cases. I haven't noticed any change in it's Bluetooth capabilities -- at least that I can detect from the cases. Now, I haven't tried aluminum -- which might be a different animal all together.
