    Default 650 Reboots on VersaMail sync

    Phone is now rebooting everytime I perform a manual over-the-air VersaMail resync. Plus it does it on auto (timed) sync too, but apparently not all the time as I'm getting my email.

    I've had my 650 (Sprint) quite a while now. I've had both Business Connection and Goodlink, but neither are now supported by my company. Now our corporate MS Exchange server uses ActiveSync and I'm using VersaMail. Thought maybe it was the version so I purchased the latest (3.5 for $10) but still no joy. Recently reinstalled DocToGo but it's an older version. That could go if it is known to cause issues. I also have Express but no issues after upgrading that (a while ago) - the reboots are recent. I have all of 2 games installed. That's it - the rest is standard junk. Oh and I recently did the Updater install to the current version (Treo650-1.13a-SPNT).

    If it is VersaMail causing this I sure wouldn't mind switching to another client that will let me sync to my corporate email server - I don't use the phone for my personal (POP3) email. Recommendations?

    I had a similar problem with Versamail . . I followed these directions on Palm's site, however the problem seemed to return every few days. I moved on to Chatteremail . . Let us know if this helps you.

    I don't use versamail alot but I was having problems if I had emails on the treo and synced with my pc. I then got the corrupt data stillrockin mentions. If I used it alot I would go with what the current stockholders recommend. (just kidding) Chattermail.

    <P>Thanks. After I posted I did a hard reset and while I still get errors, second trys seem to usually work. And no reboots. At least not on mail syncing.. however, as i mentioned before I have Express and when I tried to view the weather radar picture - it reboots!&nbsp; THAT never happened before. Maybe I need to reinstall Express.</P>

    <P>So with chattermail, it DOES link to ActiveSync to access MS Exchange mail accounts?</P>
