| Here's one thread where some people talked about which they would go with. If you search, you'll find more. Read some of the 700p threads. You'll find people there comparing the two. I think most will agree being able to use EvDO is the biggest thing. If you live in an EvDO market, the speed's something. That's the biggest improvement in the 700.
It has more RAM available for users (3 times as much), if you need a lot of storage on the Treo. With so many apps being able to be run from the SD card, that may not mean a lot to some.
It comes with PocketTunes installed, instead of RealPlayer. That's a plus for a lot of people. It's extremely buggy, though and conflicts with pTunes Deluxe, if you already had that (like me).
It comes with DocsToGo v8, which supports .pdf files, if that's important to you. The 650 can with the freeware palmPDF (better than DTG, by the way).
Supposedly, Palm is testing the 700 with 4gig SD cards and will probably release an update soon, if you need that much storage. For now, 2gig is still the limit without a ROM hack.
Bluetooth is 1.2, which is giving many people problems with their headsets and car kits.
Bottom line, it all comes down to preference. If you absolutely have to have the latest and greatest, or you get an extremely good deal (I did, that's the only reason I upgraded), go with the 700. If not, the 650 is still a very powerful tool. My 2 cents' worth.

| Plus the camera resolution on the 700 is much better, 1.3 MPixel, IIRC. |

| For me, it comes down to this: I've spent a ton of time and money getting my 650 humming nicely. I've got everything I want on it, and I have zero resets or other problems. The last thing I want to do is start over! I'm keeping my trusty 650 until it dies a natural death! |
