I have FileX but I dont know which files can be moved to the 1 gig card from the device rom without affecting the Treo's operation? How do you know which files to move? Thanks

Generally speaking, you'll want to put your space-consuming files (like music, videos, movies, photos) on your card. I also run some of my apps from my card to free up more space.

I moved documents to the card and I could not see them until I returned them to the phone memory.

DocsToGo documents? When you moved them to the card, did you note what folder they went in? I have a folder called Documents on my card. Is it possible your documents went into another folder? When you opened DocsToGo, did you have it set to show "all" (upper right-hand corner)?

Or were you looking using the file mgmt app? If so, you were unable to find them anywhere?

Geez my ignorance is hanging out when I try to answer. When I pushed the home button then pushed all in the drop down menu the documents button was not there on the phone. I think I moved the documents icon when I moved the files to the card. Thanks for helping.

You CAN'T move files from the rom...unfortunately.

Docs to go also has an app that you can use to move the word/excel/powerpoint apps to the card which will free up about 650k.

The factory stuff you can't move or I believe delete. It is marked that way. I moved games and other programs to my card to free up space. Besure to put programs under launch and they will show up with your other apps on the card screen.
