ACT! for Palm - Treo Forums

I have the Cingular 650 and I use ACT 6.0 on my laptop. Is anyone using Act for Palm. Any suggestions? I am using the ACT link but I do not get all of the info I would like. I like my Treo but I also like my ACT!

I also use Act 6.0. I tried Act for Palm and it was not what I thought it would be. I wanted to see my desktop on my Palm and it doesn't work. Very disappointed. The way I went around the phone number issue because Act does not give you very many numbers and the headers on the Palm are all different very frustrating. So what I did was sync my Treo with the Palm software. In the Palm software you have up to 8 different numbers that it will pick up and this is very useful. I have around 600 contacts on my Palm and this has been very successful. Ater syncing with my Palm software I changed my setting to not sync my contacts with Act only to sync with the Palm software and I still sync the Act calendar and it all works very fine. You use have to add new contacts to your Act database and then to your Palm software. All in all this has really help me because I can pick any number to call in my contact and I know what number it is.

Thanks for the suggestions. This will help! I talked to ACT and they claim they are working on a new ACT for Palm but they will not give any dates or information. They are still not supporting the 650.
