Adding Ringtones

Greetings All:

I'm looking for help installing custom ringtones for the Treo 650. I'm assuming that WAV files and MP3 files are compatible... I'm just not sure how to get them in there and the manual is vague at best.

Check out Treoguard at www.geakware.com- you can designate one MP3 to be your ringtone.
I haven't seen any program that lets you individualize ringtones the way many phones do.
There is also a site treotones.com that may help you (I haven't used it so cannot say if it works on the 650)

question, for the treo600, to customize using mp3s by assigning them to be rigntones will require a certain program right? something like Ringo Pro? would anybody know where to download that for free or download a porgram that has the same feature? i'm looking for free downloads cuz its expensive here if you wanna purchase.

There isn't a free program to provide mp3 ringtone functionality. If you want to use a single ringtone for all callers, then the cheapest applications are Phone Technician and TreoGuard.
