hi im new, just thought id drop in and say HELLO




for those who care how i got here...i love cellphones and i love technology but never really cared to spend $$$ on a treo or anything of the like..

my uncle recently upgraded to a 755 and gave his 650 to my dad, who wanted to use it to sync its bluetooth to his bmw 5 series....apparently he wasnt impressed with it, and gave it to me (keeping his current Sprint phone which he claims has SUPERB bluetooth capabilities)

well, me being me, i went online and searched for ways to modify my new toy and eventually came across this place...along the way i managed to pick up a 2 gig card, PocketTunes Deluxe and Ringo, just to find that those two programs are just the tip of the iceberg haha

i also didnt like the way the phone's faceplate was all scratched up, so i went ahead and ebayed a brand new Sprint treo case, a set of keypads, and a new stylus...so now it looks brand spankin new and im ready to rock and roll

well anyway i just wanted to introduce myself and i hope to learn alot from here...forums are always a great way to overindulge in something you're interested in

Nice to meet you. I'm new to this forum also. Just purchased an unlocked 650 from ebay for use on my current T-Mobile network. I'm not new to Palm and can't wait to get the new phone.
